Job Title: Chiropractor

Location: Wallingford, Connecticut

Employment Type: Full-Time, Part-Time Options Available, Per Diem

Reports To: Practice Owner

Position Summary:

We are seeking a licensed and patient-centered Chiropractor to join our growing multidisciplinary healthcare team with various locations in New Haven County . The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality, evidence-informed chiropractic care focused on musculoskeletal health, pain management, rehabilitation, and functional restoration. This position offers competitive compensation, performance incentives, and opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history, orthopedic/neurological assessments, and functional movement screening
Develop individualized treatment plans consistent with Connecticut scope-of-practice guidelines
Deliver chiropractic adjustments (manual and instrument-assisted techniques)
Provide soft tissue therapy, mobilization, and adjunctive modalities as clinically appropriate
Educate patients on posture correction, ergonomics, injury prevention, and therapeutic exercise programs
Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with Connecticut state regulations and HIPAA standards
Collaborate with referring providers (MDs, DOs, PTs, etc.) when indicated
Participate in practice marketing initiatives and community outreach events
Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as necessary
Ensure compliance with payer documentation standards and insurance billing protocols

Required Qualifications

Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from a CCE-accredited chiropractic college
Active and unrestricted Connecticut chiropractic license issued by the Connecticut Department of Public Health
National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) certification
Current malpractice insurance coverage
CPR/BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

1–3+ years of clinical experience
Experience working in multidisciplinary settings
Proficiency in diversified, Thompson, activator, or flexion-distraction techniques
Familiarity with EHR systems and insurance documentation requirements
Strong patient retention and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $55,000 – $80,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
