Full Job Description

A growing automotive company is seeking a reliable, professional, and automotive-minded individual to travel to customer locations and inspect vehicles.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer locations throughout Metro Detroit and other areas of Michigan as needed
Inspect vehicles and identify mechanical, cosmetic, and body-related issues
Take clear photos and videos
Test-drive vehicles
Professionally discuss vehicle condition and negotiate price adjustments when needed
Communicate inspection results promptly and clearly to the internal team

Requirements

Must have a reliable personal vehicle
Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance
Clean driving record
Must be able to pass a background check
Willingness to travel throughout Metro Detroit and beyond
Strong knowledge of used vehicles and common mechanical or cosmetic issues
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Professional and presentable appearance
Comfortable meeting and communicating with customers
Reliable, responsive, and able to work independently
Smartphone capable of taking clear photos and videos with a reliable cellular connection

Automotive buying, dealership, appraisal, auction, mechanic, or body shop experience is strongly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,440.00 - $43,680.00 per year
