Job Overview

The General Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing daily operations while ensuring safety, service quality, productivity, and employee engagement. This position provides leadership to frontline personnel, manages route execution, and partners with cross-functional teams to support operational objectives and customer commitments.

Job Description

Lead, coach, and develop operations team members, providing direction and accountability for performance and service execution.
Plan and oversee daily routes to ensure completion of all scheduled services in accordance with customer commitments and service standards.
Assign personnel and equipment resources to maximize operational efficiency and productivity.
Monitor performance to ensure service excellence.
Respond to customer concerns and service issues in a professional and timely manner.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, workflow, service quality, and overall performance.
Review and approve employee time records and partner with Human Resources to resolve payroll discrepancies and employee matters.
Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, employee development, and separation processes in partnership with Human Resources.
Promote and enforce a culture of safety while ensuring compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
Collaborate with maintenance, customer service, dispatch, and other departments to resolve operational challenges and improve service delivery.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in field operations, transportation, logistics, service delivery, or a related operational environment.
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience leading frontline employees and coordinating daily operations.
Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred or ability to obtain and maintain one.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience utilizing routing, dispatch, scheduling, workforce management, or other operational software platforms.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Ability to work in outdoor and industrial settings with exposure to varying weather conditions and operational environments.
Ability to occasionally lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
