Full Job Description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Accounting Account Manager to oversee day-to-day corporate administration, financial oversight, and compliance for a dedicated portfolio of client companies to drive exceptional client retention. Serving as an operational liaison, you will coordinate seamlessly between corporate clients, CPAs, financial advisors, bankers, and state insurance regulatory departments.

While you do not need industry-specific insurance experience to excel here—as we provide comprehensive training on our specialized financial structures—you must possess a strong, foundational background in accounting. If you are an organized professional who loves building efficient systems and working independently, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship & Request Management: Act as the primary operational liaison for corporate owners, CPAs, financial advisors, and bankers.
Client Onboarding: Coordinate the implementation and setup of new client corporate structures and accounts.
Workflow Optimization: Design, document, and scale standard operating procedures for the complete operational lifecycle of specialized corporate accounts, including policy drafting, underwriting documentation, premium billing, invoicing, and claims handling workflows.
Service Provider Coordination: Act as the central operational hub coordinating between clients and essential external partners, including actuaries, auditors, and asset managers.
Financial Oversight: Ensure the accurate and timely completion of corporate financial statements, general ledger maintenance, distributions, and external audits.
Compliance & Regulatory Affairs: Serve as a point of contact for state regulatory departments. Monitor strict adherence to compliance requirements, handle regulatory queries, coordinate statutory filings, and secure timely approvals for business plans or amendments.
Data Integrity: Maintain highly accurate digital records of all corporate financial policies, filings, and governance documents.

Requirements

Experience: 5+ years of experience in accounting.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Software: Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for high-level corporate client, advisor, and vendor interactions.
Autonomy: Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive accountability without direct supervision.
Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, strong project management abilities, and sharp attention to detail.
Adaptability: A quick learner who is comfortable mastering specialized, niche business concepts.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
