Full Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning Specialist to join our growing advisory team. This individual will play a critical role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing comprehensive financial plans for clients, working closely with a team of advisors to deliver high-quality planning analyses and recommendations.

The ideal candidate is highly proficient in eMoney, enjoys detailed analytical work, and can independently create sophisticated financial plans, projections, and scenario analyses. This position is primarily remote and initially will support a team of four advisors.

Key Responsibilities

Build, update, and maintain comprehensive financial plans in eMoney.
Gather, organize, and input client financial data accurately and efficiently.
Run retirement, cash flow, tax, estate, insurance, and investment planning analyses.
Create and evaluate multiple planning scenarios and projections.
Prepare planning summaries, recommendations, and supporting materials for advisor review.
Monitor planning updates and assist with ongoing plan maintenance.
Collaborate closely with advisors to ensure planning recommendations align with client goals.
Identify opportunities to improve planning workflows and maximize the capabilities of eMoney.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience using eMoney financial planning software.
Experience creating and maintaining advanced financial plans independently.
Strong understanding of comprehensive financial planning concepts, including:
Retirement planning
Cash flow analysis
Tax planning strategies
Insurance analysis
Estate planning fundamentals
Investment planning
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with limited supervision.
90% remote/10% travel - Local to Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin or Houston – some in person events/travel will be required.

Preferred Qualifications

CFP® certification or CFP® coursework completed/in progress.
Experience working in a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) or wealth management firm.
Familiarity with CRM systems and planning technology platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Financial Planning, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

The successful candidate will quickly become a trusted planning resource for the advisory team by:

Producing accurate, high-quality financial plans.
Leveraging eMoney to its fullest capabilities.
Delivering timely analyses and planning scenarios.
Helping advisors improve efficiency and enhance client planning experience.

Base salary with bonus tied to firm production may be available.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
