Lead an Oncology Pharmacy Program While Staying Clinical
Join a nationally recognized, academic-affiliated healthcare system as the Lead Oncology Clinical Pharmacist for a growing Outpatient Cancer Center.
This highly autonomous position combines advanced clinical oncology practice with pharmacy leadership, giving you the opportunity to influence patient care, improve operations, and help shape the future of the oncology pharmacy program.
ROLE:
- Lead pharmacy services for a growing outpatient cancer center
- Remain actively involved in direct patient care
- Collaborate with 8 Medical Oncologists and an exceptional multidisciplinary team
- High level of autonomy and decision-making authority
- Drive quality improvement, workflow optimization, and clinical initiatives
- Leadership position with significant influence—without direct reports

ABOUT THE CANCER CENTER:
- Outpatient Oncology
- 8 Medical Oncologists
- Approximately 80–85 sterile chemotherapy preparations daily (Monday–Thursday)
- Approximately 30–45 patients per day
- Fridays average 40 compounded preparations serving 15–20 patients
- Provide advanced clinical pharmacy services for oncology and infusion patients
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize chemotherapy and biologic treatment plans
- Partner with Cancer Center leadership to improve operations and patient outcomes
- Participate in oncology committees, accreditation activities, and program development

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency
- Oncology pharmacy experience in an outpatient cancer center, oncology clinic, or similar setting
- Experience with chemotherapy, biologics, sterile compounding, and oncology infusion services
