The Global Trade Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring thecompliant,efficient,andtimelyimportofproductsandmaterialsintotheUnitedStates.ThisrolesupportsBD'sglobalsupplychainoperationsthroughcustomscompliance,importexecution,brokermanagement,regulatorycoordination,andtradeprogramadministration.
The successful candidate will serve as a key resource for import compliance, customs regulations,HTSclassification,PartnerGovernmentAgency(PGA)requirements,andbrokerperformancemanagementwhilepartneringwithinternalstakeholders,suppliers,customsbrokers,andgovernmentagenciestofacilitatecompliantinternationaltradeoperations.

ManageimporttransactionstoensurethetimelyandcompliantclearanceofproductsandmaterialsintoBDfacilitiesandcustomerlocations.

ClassifyimportedproductsusingHarmonizedTariffSchedule(HTS)codesinaccordancewithU.S.Customsregulations.

DetermineandmaintainaccuratePartnerGovernmentAgency(PGA)datarequirements,includingFDA,USDA,EPA,andotherapplicableagencies.

CollaboratewithRegulatoryAffairsandbusinesssubjectmatterexpertstoobtainproductinformationrequiredforHTSclassificationandPGAcompliance.

ReviewcommercialinvoicesandimportdocumentationtoensurecompliancewithU.S.Customsrequirementsandresolvediscrepanciesasneeded.
