The Remix Room is looking for an energetic, outgoing person who loves creating memorable experiences. This role combines event hosting, customer service, sales, and marketing. You’ll help grow the business by bringing in new bookings while ensuring every guest has an amazing experience.
This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys social media, meeting new people, working with kids and families, and earning additional income through commissions.
Compensation
- Hourly pay while working scheduled shifts and parties.

Responsibilities
Sales & Business Growth
- Generate new birthday party and private event bookings.
- Build relationships with schools, daycare centers, youth groups, sports teams, churches, and local businesses.
- Attend community events and networking opportunities.
- Follow up with customer inquiries promptly.
- Encourage repeat bookings and referrals.
Marketing
- Create engaging Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok content.
- Post regularly on social media.
- Capture photos and videos during events (with permission).
- Help develop promotions and seasonal events.
- Distribute flyers and promotional materials throughout the community.
Party Hosting
- Welcome guests and provide exceptional customer service.
- Set up rooms before each event.
- Explain safety rules and guide guests through their experience.
- Assist with birthday celebrations and special events.
- Clean and reset the room after each party.
- Help guests package their artwork to take home.
Daily Operations
- Open and close the business as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized facility.
- Monitor inventory and notify management when supplies run low.
- Assist with special events, vendor fairs, and community festivals.

Commission-Based Pay
In addition to hourly pay for scheduled shifts and event hosting, this position offers the opportunity to earn commission by helping grow The Remix Room.
Commissions are paid on qualifying parties and private events that you personally generate through your own marketing, networking, referrals, or direct sales efforts.
Examples include:
- Bringing in new birthday party bookings.
- Building relationships with schools, daycares, churches, sports teams, and community organizations.
- Securing corporate events or private group bookings.
- Converting customer inquiries into confirmed reservations.
Commission Guidelines
- Commission is earned only on bookings that can reasonably be attributed to your efforts.
- Commission is paid after the event has taken place and payment has been received.
- No commission is paid on canceled events, refunded bookings, or unpaid balances.
- Bookings generated through company advertising, the website, or other employees may not qualify unless you were directly responsible for converting the customer into a confirmed reservation.
- Management will determine commission eligibility if more than one employee was involved in securing a booking.
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
