Full Job Description

About us

Womer and Associates Inc is a multi-disciplinary design firm providing Architecture and Civil Engineering services located downtown Spokane, Washington. We currently service the Northwest, with extended service areas in Alaska, Northern California, Montana, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to determine project requirements and goals

- Provide architectural oversight for drafters and designers to develop architectural projects using Sketchup, AutoCAD, Revit and other design software
- Prepare drawings and specifications using technical proficiency and understanding of building codes
- Coordinate with clients, team members, consultants and other professionals to establish project priorities
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and address issues that arise
- Review and approve contractor submittals and shop drawings
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and interns

Qualifications:
- Degree in Architecture from a program accredited by NAAB; and be NCARB certified
- Mid-Senior level Architect with minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed professional
- Proven experience in architectural design and project management
- Proficiency in Sketchup, AutoCAD, NavisWorks, Revit and other design software
- Strong negotiation skills for working with clients, contractors, and vendors
- Knowledge of construction estimating, budgeting, and scheduling
- Ability to sketch and communicate design ideas effectively
- Familiarity with interior design principles and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
