Full Job Description

Calling all Metal Maestros and Bend-it-Like-Beckham enthusiasts! Trade the monotonous 9-to-5 grind for the high-energy precision of our swing shift manufacturing team. As our Brake Operator, you aren't just pressing buttons-you are the architect of form, taking raw sheets and bending them into the backbone of local industry. You are the one who ensures every angle is perfect and every part is spot-on.

This is a full-time position that comes with a fantastic, compressed Monday through Thursday (4/10) schedule, from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM. Come flex your mechanical muscles in an environment where precision meets production.

Responsibilities:
The Daily Forge
The Tooling Tactician: Efficiently load and unload tools based on the setup sheet to keep the production flow seamless and steady.
The Machine Maestro: Expertly operate machine controls, carrying out routine maintenance and secondary operations that keep our production line running at peak performance.
The Setup Sidekick: Execute simple or routine setups with precision, letting our lead set-up crew handle the heavy, complex adjustments while you keep the momentum going.The Quality Sentinel: Verify the quality of every produced part using simple measurement instrumentsbecause in this shop, "close enough" isn't in our vocabulary.
The Console Commander: When duty calls, step up to the computer console to keep operations firing on all cylinders.

Working hours: 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM

Skills:

Fabrication Familiarity: Previous experience in a metal shop where you've seen press brakes in action.
Setup Savvy: A solid understanding of setup sheets and the "why" behind the tooling process.
Mechanical Intuition: A knack for troubleshooting and a general mechanical aptitude that helps you stay one step ahead of the machine.

The Educational Foundation: High school diploma or equivalent, paired with the focus and drive to learn on the job.

The Structural Strength: Ability to safely lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs, keeping the workflow moving without a hitch.
Machine Mastery: Demonstrated capability to operate press brakes and machine controls for routine setups.
The Reliable Engine: Excellent attendance, a "can-do" attitude, and a commitment to keeping your workstation safe, clean, and efficient.
