Full Job Description

Recruitment Specialist Position Description:

Rationale: We connect people needing care with people we have vetted and trained to provide professional and compassionate home care. The work of recruiting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding qualified CarePros is central to being able to accomplish our mission.

This is a non-exempt full-time office position.

Primary Responsibilities:

With a particular commitment to exhibiting the values of Home Instead, the Recruitment Specialist (1) manages the entire recruitment process; (2) screens and interviews prospective CarePros; and (3) hires and onboards new staff up to orientation.

Develop and Manage Recruitment Process

· Manage and execute on recruitment strategies online and within the community.
· Manage recruitment ads and post positions as necessary.
· Answer each employment inquiry in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
· Check in frequently with recruitment leads within the applicant tracking system.
· Suggest improvements in tools and process to improve our CarePro hiring success rate.

Screen and Interview

· Schedule and conduct applicant interviews in an efficient and professional manner.
· Following the Home Instead and Washington State standards in regards to background checks and other hiring compliance.

Hire and Onboard

· Manage and maintain all interview and hiring process paperwork.
· Transition new employees up to the time of formal orientation/training.

Secondary Responsibilities: The Office Staff of Skurffy Werks LLC dba Home Instead of Spokane operates as a team.

· Will occasionally work evenings or weekends as required for recruitment events, special events, and on-call rotation.
· Interface with Clients, Families, Vendors.
· Temporarily perform other functions as necessary to provide continuity of experience for clients and Care Professionals, including but not limited to scheduling, QA Visits, and Home Care.

· Possess High school Diploma/GED plus one year of related business experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
· Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have an understanding of and uphold the policies and procedures established by Skurffy Werks LLC dba Home Instead of Spokane.

· Exercise effective interpersonal skills as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skills.
· Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen compassionately, reflectively, and effectively.
· Able to work independently, maintain necessary confidentiality, and meet deadlines.
· Demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness consistent with office standards, practices, policies and procedures.
· Demonstrate a growth mindset related to: Complex human interactions, the senior care industry, work-related technologies, tools, and platforms
· Organize and prioritize daily, monthly, quarterly and annual work rhythms.
· Establish and maintain good working relationships with the franchise owner, office colleagues, Care Pros and the community.
· Present a professional appearance and demeanor in a professional office setting.
· Have a team and results orientation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.25 - $25.50 per hour
