Full Job Description

Malsam Tsang Structural Engineering, an energetic midsize structural consulting firm, is seeking full-time Structural Engineers to join our growing team in Spokane. We welcome candidates at different career stages - from those just starting out in their engineering careers to seasoned professionals looking for new challenges.

About Us

We specialize in the design of single-family homes, townhomes, multi-family residences, mixed-use, and commercial projects. Our Spokane office offers a vibrant, collaborative, and naturally lit open-studio environment within walking distance of mass transit and a wide variety of restaurants and cafés. We also have offices in Seattle, Wenatchee and Los Angeles and we are open to candidates interested in any of those locations.

What We’re Looking For

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering (required).
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant design experience preferred; new graduates will be considered if they bring strong technical skills and a desire to learn.
Knowledge: Familiarity with building codes and structural design principles.
Licensure: EIT, PE, or SE accreditation
Mindset: A passion for engineering, curiosity, and a commitment to teamwork and problem-solving.
Work Authorization: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis. Malsam Tsang is unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.

Compensation

Base salary range is dependent upon qualifications: $70,000 - $110,000 / year (approx. $33.50 – $52.75 / hour)
