Full Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Branch Supervisor to lead our team and deliver exceptional member service. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily branch operations, ensure compliance with credit union regulations, and foster a positive environment that promotes growth and member satisfaction. Your leadership will drive team performance, uphold industry standards, and enhance the overall experience for our members. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your management skills while making a meaningful impact in our community.

Responsibilities

Oversee, train and direct MSR’s and direct reports to meet or exceed the service standards defined by RESCU.
Manage the branch staff to achieve established goals.
Manage MSR staff and monitor teller transactions for efficiency and accuracy
Review Job performance of direct reports. Makes recommendations concerning hiring, and when necessary disciplinary action of branch personnel
Ensure direct reports pursue continued training as required by RESCU.
Ensure cross selling activity appropriate to meet the members needs and the credit unions plan and budget.
Oversee daily work. Maintain all appropriate levels of security and record keeping in accordance with credit union operating policies and procedures.
Ensure efficient scheduling and accurate reporting of employee time worked.
Conduct regular meetings to keep staff apprised of recent issues and to resolve staff problems.
Ensure that the branch balances at the close of business each day. Ensures proper resolution of out of balance conditions. Responsible for Over/Short reports.
Ensures that daily, weekly, monthly audits are completed timely.
Promptly implement new procedures and programs.
Ensure adherence with Bank Secrecy Act/Anti Money Laundering guidelines including Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR)
Ensure OFAC checks are conducted as required by policy
Ensures all functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.
Develop and maintain documentation for training and lead the training for branch personnel.
Resolve problem situations utilizing member service and good judgement in authorizing exceptions within the appropriate area of responsibility
Acts as Teller/MSR/Loan Closer when needed.
Answer questions and solve problems for members concerning their accounts or services provided by the credit union.
Process loans accurately in a timely manner and in compliance with lending policy and procedures.
Maintain a friendly and professional approach to members and employees.
Assist the VP Operations and Development in the writing, revisions and updates to the Branch/Credit Union Procedures.
Adhere to the credit union’s BSA/AML/OFAC compliance program.
Branch managers are expected to participate in community and credit union events, including non-profit boards.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
