Looking for flexibility, independence, and meaningful patient care?

Sunshine Home Health is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide (NAC/CNA) to join our team. This role combines the freedom to manage your daily schedule with the support of an experienced team of nurses and therapists. You'll provide one-on-one care in patients' homes, helping them remain safe, independent, and successful in their daily lives while earning competitive pay-per-visit compensation.

Unlike facility-based care, home health offers the opportunity to work independently while making a meaningful impact on patients' lives. You'll spend quality time with patients, build strong relationships, and help individuals maintain their independence at home. While you work autonomously in the field, you'll be supported by an experienced interdisciplinary team including registered nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, social workers, and clinical leadership.

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Per Visit Compensation

Earn $29-$32 per patient visit, depending on experience.
Most Home Health Aides average approximately 6-7 visits per day, with opportunities for additional visits based on patient needs and your availability.
Mileage reimbursement provided for patient-related travel.
Monthly cell phone stipend provided to support documentation and communication needs.
Flexible scheduling that allows you to balance your work and personal commitments.
Significant autonomy in organizing your daily patient visits while remaining connected to a supportive clinical team.

Responsibilities

Participate in the development and implementation of the home health aide plan of care.
Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, ambulation assistance, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse.
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other members of the home health team to support patient goals.
Follow established plans of care and communicate when updates may be needed.
Complete patient documentation on the day of service.
Report safety concerns, incidents, or unusual occurrences promptly.
Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards at all times.

Required Qualifications (Certificates and Licenses)

Current Washington State NAC/CNA license in good standing
Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)

Required Experience

Previous home health experience
Experience working independently in a community-based healthcare setting

Equivalent experience is not accepted in place of required education.
