Kitchen Aide — Bethany Place

Full-time | Sunday–Thursday, Day Shift | $20.00/hr

About the Role

Bethany Place, a behavioral health facility supporting adults living with chronic and persistent mental health conditions, is hiring a Kitchen Aide to help prepare and serve nourishing meals in a supportive, residential setting.

What You'll Do

Assist with meal prep, serving, and dish/kitchen cleaning under the Cook's direction
Maintain food safety, proper storage, and temperature logs
Complete daily checklists and kitchen sanitation duties

Who You Are

Reliable, self-directed, and comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen
Strong time management skills to keep pace with shift schedules
Committed to maintaining professional boundaries with residents at all times
Experience in assisted living or healthcare food service preferred

Physical Requirements

Lift/carry up to 50 lbs; frequent bending, reaching, standing, and stair use
Tolerate exposure to cleaning chemicals and kitchen temperatures

What You'll Need

Minimum age 18; high school diploma or GED
Food Handler's Permit required before hire
CPR/First Aid required at hire or shortly after
3 professional references or letters of recommendation before hire

Good to Know

Strict cell phone policy — personal phone use is limited to scheduled breaks
Background check and fingerprinting required after a conditional job offer, per WA DSHS licensing requirements
