Hardware Validation Engineer

We are seeking a Hardware Validation Engineer to join a highly skilled engineering team focused on validating advanced hardware systems and ensuring product performance, reliability, and quality. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on lab work, solving complex technical challenges, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring innovative hardware solutions from prototype through production.
You’ll play a key role in designing and executing electrical validation strategies, debugging hardware platforms, analyzing performance data, and communicating findings to engineering teams. This is an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies including high-speed interfaces, advanced processors, FPGA platforms, and next-generation networking hardware.
What You’ll Do
- Create and execute electrical validation and design verification test plans based on product requirements
- Perform hands-on testing, debugging, and verification of complex electronic systems
- Validate high-speed interfaces including PCIe Gen5/Gen6, DDR5, and 400Gb Ethernet
- Perform signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) analysis
- Support board bring-up, prototype debugging, and hardware characterization
- Automate test setups and workflows using tools such as Python, MATLAB, and LabVIEW
- Collaborate with hardware design, layout, compliance, manufacturing, and engineering teams
- Analyze test results, document findings, and present insights to technical stakeholders
- Support reliability testing and qualification efforts for production hardware
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in electrical validation, hardware testing, or hardware engineering
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment including:
- Oscilloscopes
- VNAs/SNAs
- Frequency counters
- DMMs
- BERTs
- Experience testing and debugging electronic systems
- Familiarity with high-speed protocols and FPGA-based hardware platforms
- Scripting experience with Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW
- Strong understanding of hardware validation methodologies and electrical design concepts
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Intel Xeon platform experience
- Ethernet switching and optical transceiver validation
- SI/PI simulation tools such as HyperLynx or Sigrity
- Knowledge of industry standards including IEEE, PCI-SIG, and JEDEC

Pay: $104,000.00 - $114,000.00 per year
