Full Job Description

Salary is commensurate to experience.

PMC is a high-volume direct mail production company servicing marketing agencies and non-profit organizations across the United States. Our production facility in Fredericksburg completes millions of inserted envelopes per week among dozens of daily projects.

PMC Account Managers must have an employment history of excellent customer service skills, project management experience, and in-house (no cold-calling necessary) sales experience. The ability to multitask with a positive attitude will be required.

Job candidates must be able to organize tasks, prioritize steps on multiple simultaneous projects, set appointment and task calendar reminders, and communicate milestones effectively to fellow team members and our customers.

Excellent communication skills are required using email and over the phone. Excellent English communication ability is required. Successful candidates must have a kind, professional, and diligent demeanor.

Systematic clerical skills are required. Utilizing a file folder system for hard copy and soft copy items will be critical to the employee's success.

Our clients are typically marketing agencies that represent large non-profit organizations, political action groups, and/or membership associations.

Once a project gets awarded, our customer account managers monitor all of the details and milestones that result in a successful direct mail campaign. The production schedule may include data processing and file management, project proofing and set-ups, sign-offs/approvals of printing, variable data personalization, postage reconciliation, and lettershop production.

The PMC account manager should be self-confident and have the ability to communicate and work closely with PMC customers and PMC teammates.

Employees for this position must be able to walk, climb stairs, and move through our large production facility and warehouse.

Regular hours will be 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday with occasional overtime before and after these hours in order to keep up with deadlines and customer requirements.

PMC utilizes enterprise software that all staff use to monitor and control the project workflow, estimating, warehouse receiving and staging, production and inventory reconciliation, postage tracking, and invoicing once the job is complete.

The account manager's duties and responsibilities will be to utilize the tools and training we provide to manage projects and impress our customers with your ability to keep them well informed throughout the process.

We are seeking employees that can adapt to ever-changing circumstances, make quick and lucid responses, and change tasks frequently.
