Aqua-Tots Water Safety Instructor:

5-25 Hours Per Week
Includes Saturday

AT-WSI Position Objective: Work with General Manager, Aquatic Manager and Aquatic Staff on all aquatic daily operations thereby ensuring company core values, customer satisfaction and revenue increase.

Customer Service

Greet customers when they come into the facility
Communicate effectively with potential and existing customers
Build relationships with families and get to know their names and their children’s names
Handle customer complaints gracefully with a win/win outcome
Report to manager if complaints are unresolved
Lead by example for other staff members by using the customer-focused principle in every customer interaction

AT-WSI Duties:

Uphold our Aqua-Tots Swim Schools Core Values
Report to work 15 minutes prior to each shift
Be in uniform (Staff shirt) when entering any AT facility or location
Check pool chemicals and maintain chemical log
Set up teaching areas
Clean and maintain pool areas before and after each shift
Understand and uphold AT fecal contamination policies
Teach in accordance with AT curriculum
Be knowledgeable in regards to parent questions regarding progression and AT curriculum
Fill out Aqua Cards on a consistent basis
Return Aqua Cards to correct place in bin
Attend staff meeting and in-service trainings

Front Desk Staff:

5-25 Hours Per Week
Includes Saturday

FD Position Objective: Work with the General Manager, Office Manager, and other Front Desk Staff members in creating the Aqua-Tots experience for new and current families, upholding our core values, and meeting sales goals.

Areas of Responsibility

The Front Desk Staff is responsible for the following Daily Duties:

Daily Duties

· Uphold our Aqua-Tots Swim Schools Core Values

· Open and/or close the facility

· Print class rosters

· Stock snack bar, retail merchandise, office forms and supplies, and any promotional materials

· Perform all duties as outlined on the Swim School Daily Task List

· Welcome families into the facility and say goodbye

· Answer phones with the proper Aqua-Tots Swim Schools greeting

· Communicate effectively with potential and existing customers

· Provide information about our facilities, curriculum, and features

· Effectively utilize POS and communication platforms

· Manage class attendance and schedule make-up lessons

· Sell swimming lessons and related swimming merchandise

· Register new and/or returning customers

· Completes Daily Sales Tracker

· Ensure that families have a swim waiver signed

· Give facility tours to new and existing customers

· Perform 10-minute check-in with all new families

· Prepare Welcome packets and bags for new families

· Ensure facility safety and cleanliness

· Interact with families to build a relationship with our customers

· Handle customer concerns and/or report to the General Manager

· Assist with the student graduation process

· Attend staff meetings and in-service trainings

Front Desk Staff Certification Requirements

· Aqua-Tots Front Desk Staff (AT- FDS) Certificate of Completion

Minimum Qualifications

· Reliable transportation to work

· Open availability

Preferred Qualifications

· Previous experience working with children (coaching, camp counselor, teacher, etc.)

· Previous experience working in sales or in the service industry

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
