Full Job Description

We are looking for a reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Cat Care Specialist to join our professional pet care team. In this role, you will visit clients' homes to provide personalized care for their cats while the owners are away, ensuring every pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

This is an independent position for someone who is organized, trustworthy, and confident working on their own while following detailed care instructions.

What You'll Do

Travel to scheduled client homes for pet care visits.
Feed cats and provide fresh water according to each pet's care plan.
Clean litter boxes and maintain a clean feeding and care area.
Administer medications as directed, including oral, topical, or injectable medications when required.
Provide specialized care for senior cats or cats with medical conditions.
Monitor each cat for changes in behavior, appetite, or overall health.
Complete visit reports and send updates through our mobile system.
Follow client instructions carefully and provide professional, dependable service at every visit.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years old.
Minimum of two years of experience caring for cats.
Valid driver's license and dependable personal transportation.
Ability to successfully complete a background check.
Comfortable entering clients' homes and working independently.
Able to use a smartphone for scheduling, communication, and visit documentation.
Willing to work weekends and holidays as business needs require.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with experience in any of the following are encouraged to apply:

Giving oral, topical, or injectable medications.
Providing subcutaneous (SQ) fluids.
Caring for senior cats or cats with chronic medical conditions.
Experience in veterinary clinics, animal shelters, pet sitting, or other animal care settings.
