Full Job Description

Torres Advisory Group is a premier, family-owned financial family office founded in San Antonio in 1998. We pride ourselves on being a trusted partner for our clients' entire financial lives. We are specifically seeking a dedicated professional to join Torres Advisory and Consulting Services, LLC, to deliver elite financial and tax compliance workflows. Because our ecosystem uniquely spans wealth management, legal services, accounting, and real estate, you will work within a powerful multi-disciplinary network that offers comprehensive, high-tier solutions to our clients.

Position Overview:

As a Tax Preparer/Consultant, you will manage federal and state tax compliance while building deep client relationships. This is a 100% in-office position at our San Antonio headquarters, operating during standard business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance: Prepare and review accurate federal and state individual (Form 1040) and business tax returns.
Client Consultation: Conduct comprehensive, bilingual interviews with clients to gather necessary financial documentation.
Financial Analysis: Analyze W-2s, 1099s, expense receipts, and balance sheets using QuickBooks and Excel to identify legal deductions and credits.
Regulatory Alignment: Ensure all workflows strictly align with IRS guidelines, federal mandates, and Texas tax codes.
Data Security: Securely maintain and manage sensitive financial data with total confidentiality.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of documented professional tax preparation experience.
Language: Fully bilingual; native or professional fluency in both English and Spanish is required to conduct client interviews.
Core Software: Mandatory hands-on knowledge of Intuit ProConnect and QuickBooks Online.
Productivity Tools: Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel (formulas and data sorting), Microsoft Word, and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, and Drive).

Skills:

Detail-oriented and able to work independently, efficiently, and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational, time management, and task prioritization skills.
Demonstrated professionalism in phone etiquette and customer support interactions.
Comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

In-person, full-time position.
Compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and qualifications.
Our office is open Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
