Full Job Description

Job Overview

We are actively seeking a Senior RF Engineer for a direct hire position in Spring Hill, FL. This role designs, integrates, qualifies, and sustains RF, antenna, radar, and airborne electrical systems.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and design integrated RF and aircraft antenna systems
Support integration of electrical and mechanical antenna assemblies
Perform qualification activities for airborne RF systems
Support RF communications, radar, EO/IR, datalink, and C4ISR integration
Review existing designs and test data to identify improvement opportunities
Develop wiring interconnects, schematics, and harness drawings
Integrate RS-232, RS-422, Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553, and discrete signal interfaces
Support aircraft guidance, navigation, control, and fault-tolerance systems
Support ground-support electronics hardware and software
Perform engineering analysis related to airborne system integration
Support fabrication, installation, and production issues
Apply MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, and DO-160 requirements to design and qualification activities
Support sustainment engineering for fielded aircraft systems
Develop engineering solutions for aircraft system upgrades and integration efforts

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or higher
Minimum of 10 years of experience in RF, antenna, radar, EO/IR, datalink, or C4ISR design and integration
Minimum of 10 years of experience using CAD software
Experience with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD Electrical
Experience designing integrated aircraft antenna systems
Experience creating wiring interconnect drawings
Experience creating wiring schematics
Experience creating wiring harness drawings
Experience integrating RS-232, RS-422, Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553, and discrete wiring
Knowledge of MIL-STD-810 requirements
Knowledge of MIL-STD-461 requirements
Knowledge of MIL-STD-464 requirements
Knowledge of DO-160 testing and design requirements
Experience supporting airborne platform integration
Experience supporting fabrication and installation issues
