Full Job Description

Title: Territory Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt

Reports to: VP of Administration

Position Summary:

The Territory Manager supports the sales team within an assigned territory by coordinating hospitality events, managing customer and project documentation, and providing administrative and financial support. This role serves as a central point of contact between the sales team, customers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure events, customer accounts, and administrative processes run smoothly and efficiently.

The territory manager is detail-oriented, highly organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced sales environment. Key Responsibilities:

· Event Planning & Coordination

o Complete and submit event request forms

o Research, schedule, and coordinate hospitality events

o Build out event details and coordinate pre-show and post-show team meetings

o Manage event expenses, including memberships, booths, electricity, shipping, AV equipment, and post-show costs

o Register staff for events

o Organize and gather marketing and booth materials, including posters, swag, and flyers for events

o Maintain and update the sales team event calendar and send calendar invites to attendees

o Manage event-related tasks and ensure they are completed in a timely manner

o Send itineraries for upcoming events in advance

o Research potential conferences and events to attend

o Attend events and shows as necessary

o Prepare an annual event list for leadership approval

· Sales & Customer Coordination

o Coordinate scheduling for customer assessments within the assigned territory

o Maintain assessment calendars and forecasting

o Enter and update leads in the appropriate tracking system

o Enter new customers and notes into the CRM system

o Send contract documents to customers via electronic signature for execution

o Schedule production handoff meetings and upload signed handoff documents to the system

o Assist with gathering necessary documents for contracted jobs and handoff meetings

o Oversee customer relationship management tools for the sales team

o Maintain a reference list of potential customers within the territory

o Send completed job warranties to customers for signature and upload to the system

o Prepare packets for board or client meetings as needed

o Take and distribute notes for monthly sales meetings

o Assist with regularly scheduled sales meetings within the territory

o Complete contractor registration for jobs requiring permitting

· Financial & Administrative Responsibilities

o Assist with accounts receivable, including sending invoices for jobs and repairs

o Enter event costs into the expense tracking system after each event

o Complete and process commission worksheets for territory jobs

o Complete and submit vendor packets, including required tax forms

o Oversee participation in purchasing cooperatives for the territory

o Manage and submit receipts

· Team Support & Office Management

o Keep education consultants and sales support staff updated on leads and job statuses

o Support the Regional Sales Manager with various tasks

o Work closely with the production team to address questions

o Attend weekly production update meetings with sales and production teams

o Handle office management duties, including ordering supplies and marketing materials

o Maintain registration and tags for territory vehicles

Supervisory Responsibility:

This role has no supervisory requirements.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a standard office environment and involves travel within the assigned territory for events and customer meetings. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, phones, and copiers.

Physical Demands:

This is a moderately physical role.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a Full-Time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Hours and work shift may change in accordance with business needs.

Required Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· 1-2 years of previous experience in sales, event coordination, or customer service related to the roofing or construction industry.

Preferred Education and Experience:

· Associate’s degree

· 5-10 years of previous experience in sales or event coordination related to the roofing or construction industry.

· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and event management tools

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

Must be able to accomplish all duties with little to no assistance. Ability to travel to events and customer sites within the assigned territory as needed.
