Join One of the Fastest Growing Multi-State Title Agencies

Aurora Settlement Services, Inc. is a growing boutique title insurance and escrow agency serving residential and commercial clients throughout multiple states. We are seeking an experienced Post-Closing & Recording Specialist to join our Columbia, Tennessee office.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and exceptional customer service are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all post-closing activities from closing, funding through final policy issuance.
Review closed files for completeness and compliance.
Submit documents for recording electronically and by mail in multiple jurisdictions.
Monitor recordings and promptly resolve recording rejections.
Track outstanding recordings, releases, payoff letters, and other post-closing requirements.
Coordinate with lenders, attorneys, county recording offices, clients, and internal staff to resolve post-closing issues.
Ensure all files meet underwriter, lender, state, and federal compliance requirements.
Maintain accurate post-closing records and document retention.
Assist with title policy remittances and quality control as needed.
Meet production deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in title insurance post-closing, recording, or title policy production required.
Thorough understanding of title insurance policies, recording procedures, escrow files, and lender requirements.
Experience working with electronic recording (eRecording) platforms.
Knowledge of multi-state recording practices is a plus.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple files while maintaining accuracy.
Proficiency with title production software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
