Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced General Management Consultant with a strong Marketing Technology (MarTech) background to support a strategic initiative for a leading banking organization. This consultant will partner with business and marketing leaders to develop a direct-to-consumer growth strategy focused on identifying, targeting, and converting new prospects across Retail Banking, Credit Cards, and Wealth Services.
The ideal candidate combines management consulting rigor with hands-on experience in customer acquisition, customer segmentation, marketing technology, and growth strategy. This individual will assess current-state capabilities, identify opportunities to improve prospect acquisition performance, and develop actionable recommendations that can be operationalized by business and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development
- Develop a comprehensive direct-to-consumer prospecting strategy across Retail Banking, Credit Cards, and Wealth Services.
- Evaluate existing customer acquisition approaches and identify opportunities to improve prospect targeting, engagement, and conversion.
- Assess customer journey and funnel performance to identify acquisition gaps and growth opportunities.
- Conduct market, competitor, and industry analyses to inform strategic recommendations.
Marketing Technology & Analytics
- Evaluate current MarTech capabilities, customer data utilization, and digital marketing effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities to leverage customer data, segmentation, personalization, and marketing automation platforms.
- Recommend enhancements to audience targeting, campaign orchestration, lead generation, and conversion optimization processes.
- Partner with stakeholders to align technology capabilities with growth objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Facilitate workshops and strategy sessions with executive and business stakeholders.
- Present findings, recommendations, and implementation roadmaps to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with marketing, analytics, digital, product, and customer experience teams.
Deliverables

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of management consulting experience.
- Experience supporting strategic growth, customer acquisition, or go-to-market initiatives.
- Strong understanding of marketing technology ecosystems, customer acquisition strategies, and digital marketing channels.
- Experience developing executive-level presentations and strategic recommendations.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Experience serving banking, financial services, fintech, credit card, wealth management, or consumer financial services clients.
- Expertise in customer segmentation, CRM strategy, MarTech platforms, digital acquisition, customer lifecycle management, and marketing analytics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at a Tier 1 or Tier 2 consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Oliver Wyman, Kearney, Strategy&, LEK, EY-Parthenon, etc.).
- Experience within Big Four strategy or consulting practices (e.g., Accenture Strategy, Deloitte Consulting, PwC Strategy&, EY-Parthenon, KPMG Strategy).

Pay: $125.00 - $150.00 per hour
