Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Benefits Specialist to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be the go-to expert for managing employee benefits programs, ensuring seamless administration, and providing exceptional support to our staff. Responsibilities

Administer employee benefits programs including health, life, property casualty, and other insurance plans, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations such as HIPAA and insurance laws.
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits options, coverage details, and claims processes.
Coordinate with insurance providers and internal teams to process enrollments, changes, terminations, and renewals efficiently.
Conduct analysis of benefits data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and improvements in benefits offerings.
Build strong relationships with employees by providing personalized support through client communication channels and telemarketing outreach when necessary.
Maintain accurate records within CRM systems and other benefits administration tools; ensure data integrity and confidentiality at all times.
Collaborate with marketing teams to promote benefits programs effectively across various channels, increasing awareness and engagement.

Skills

Proven experience in sales administration or benefits administration roles, with a strong understanding of insurance products including health, life, property casualty, and commercial insurance.
Demonstrated ability in outside sales or retail sales environments with excellent negotiation skills.
Multilingual or bilingual proficiency is highly desirable to serve diverse employee populations effectively.
Strong analysis skills to interpret complex benefits data and regulatory requirements related to insurance sales and benefits management.
Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—to clearly explain benefits options and foster positive client relationships.
Knowledge of insurance regulation standards such as HIPAA compliance for health information privacy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) along with CRM system expertise for efficient client management.
Experience in telemarketing or client outreach strategies to promote benefits programs proactively.
Familiarity with health insurance, life insurance, property casualty insurance policies, and the overall landscape of benefits administration within a corporate setting.
