Position Overview: The
Data Systems Analyst / Data Integration Specialist will play a key role in designing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise-level data systems that support provider enrollment, third-party databases, and large-scale data warehousing environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proficiency in data handling, SQL interfaces, and ETL tools such as Informatica. Candidates with prior experience or foundational understanding of
Third Party Electronic Databases and
Provider Enrollment Systems will be preferred.
This position requires technical depth in database design, data mapping, and system integration, along with the ability to work collaboratively across functional and technical teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance within complex information systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data integration workflows using ETL tools such as
Informatica to extract, transform, and load data between source and target systems. Collaborate with business and IT teams to analyze, define, and document data requirements within
Third Party Electronic Database and
Provider Enrollment frameworks. Develop and optimize
SQL interface files, stored procedures, and data validation scripts to support system interoperability and data exchange between heterogeneous platforms. Perform detailed
data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure compliance with federal and enterprise-level data governance and quality standards. Design and maintain
data warehouse structures, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and reporting of mission-critical datasets. Work closely with architects, data stewards, and business analysts to develop
data flow diagrams, metadata documentation, and post-migration validation reports. Support
system migrations and modernization efforts, including post-migration verification and documentation of data lineage and reconciliation. Analyze data-related performance issues and implement corrective actions to optimize ETL job efficiency and system throughput. Ensure
compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA, NIST, and applicable state-level policies related to provider enrollment and healthcare data. Develop comprehensive
technical and functional documentation, including data dictionaries, interface control documents (ICDs), and process flow diagrams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field. Hands-on experience in
data integration, data warehousing, and database development using tools such as Informatica PowerCenter or equivalent ETL solutions. Proficiency in
SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, or similar RDBMS platforms), including writing complex queries, joins, and optimization techniques. Strong understanding of
data handling principles, normalization, data lineage, and metadata management. Experience working with
data warehouse architectures, including star and snowflake schema design. Exposure to or understanding of
Third Party Electronic Databases and
Provider Enrollment Systems, particularly in the healthcare or public sector domain. Familiarity with
data migration and post-migration validation techniques, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving data discrepancies and interface issues. Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in
federally regulated data environments such as Medicaid, Medicare, or other healthcare provider enrollment platforms. Knowledge of
Informatica Cloud, Azure Data Factory, or other modern cloud ETL tools. Familiarity with
data governance frameworks,
data quality tools, and
compliance documentation. Certification in
Informatica,
SQL Development, or
Data Warehousing preferred.
