Full Job Description

FULL-TIME LEGAL ASSISTANT POSITION available in SPRINGFIELD OFFICE.

Brown, Hay & Stephens is the oldest law firm in Illinois and is highly respected. We offer a broad range of diversified legal services for all types of clients and provide ethical, efficient, and qualified counsel with the goal of developing and maintaining strong, trusting relationships with our clients. We are practical, responsive, and hands-on and believe in serving our community.

Brown, Hay & Stephens is seeking a self-motivated Legal Assistant (previous experience a plus) who has excellent communication, scheduling, organizational, and reading comprehension skills. Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented multitasker who enjoys handling a variety of different responsibilities throughout the day and can quickly comprehend and apply written and verbal instructions. In order to work efficiently and provide the best service to our clients, we are looking for someone who is familiar with Microsoft Office applications, is willing to learn and become familiar with websites and software necessary to accomplish job requirements, and is able to prioritize their workload.
