Full Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Title Clerk, where you'll play a vital role in managing the accurate processing of vehicle titles and registration paperwork. This position offers an energetic environment focused on efficiency, organization, and exceptional customer service. As an Automotive Title Clerk, you'll ensure compliance with state regulations while maintaining a seamless flow of title transactions for our dealership. Your expertise will help streamline operations, and support sales teams, through precise documentation and effective communication.

Responsibilities

Process automotive titles, registrations, and related paperwork in accordance with state regulations and dealership policies.
Manage titles, lien releases, and duplicate titles efficiently using industry-standard software such as Vitu, Dealertrack or other registration software.
Support inventory control by tracking vehicle titles and managing associated documentation to prevent errors or delays in vehicle delivery.
Prepare daily bank deposits
Prepare auction titles and process all required paperwork for wholesale and auction vehicle sales.
Process and bill incoming and outgoing dealer swaps.
Stock New and Used vehicles into dealership inventory.
File and maintain parts slips, repair orders and vehicle deal paperwork.

Qualifications

Proven experience in automotive title processing, dealership, or retail sales environments.
Strong knowledge of state regulations and automotive sales paperwork requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and industry-specific software such as CDK or equivalent systems.
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail for data entry and record keeping.
Effective communication skills for client interaction, public speaking, and team collaboration.
Prior experience in automotive repair or dealership settings is highly desirable.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
