Full Job Description

Belmont Equipment and Technologies is seeking Outside Sales professionals for our Chicopee, MA location.

Overview

Belmont Equipment and Technologies is a pioneer in non-traditional machining technologies, and has experienced significant growth in recent years. We are looking to expand our NE footprint, reporting out of our Chicopee, MA offices.

We are seeking experienced, motivated outside sales representatives with a high level of drive and commitment to customer satisfaction. The ideal candidates will be equally comfortable operating individually and as part of a team. The selected candidates must be highly organized with attention to detail, comfortable with handling multiple tasks – as doing so with precision is mission-critical.

The compensation package includes a competitive salary, commissions, and an excellent benefits package.

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales plan to meet and exceed sales objectives
Prospect, target, qualify, position and close direct sales opportunities
Open up new accounts and expand relationships within established accounts
Capitalize on leads generated through marketing activities and networking with customers
Demonstrate products and/or work with sales support engineers to provide detailed demonstrations on technical applications

Staff is held to the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. Selected applicants will be required to submit to a detailed background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree is required. Engineering or a related field is preferred, but other majors will be considered based on experience and other qualifications.
Associate’s degrees will be considered depending on other education, experience and qualifications.

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in industrial/manufacturing sales and/or customer service.
Ability to identify customer needs and effectively develop and present solutions.
Ability to build relationships with key business, engineering, and manufacturing executives.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Strong work ethic and drive to succeed.
A proven track record of consistent quota attainment or over-achievement.

The successful candidate must be a proven self-starter with a high level of self-sufficiency.
