Can You Make 20 Strangers Laugh?
We’re not looking for the best painter in town.
We’re looking for the person everyone remembers after the party is over.
At Painting with a Twist, our guests aren’t coming to become professional artists—they’re celebrating birthdays, date nights, girls’ nights out, anniversaries, team-building events, and just looking for a fun evening with friends.
Our job is to make sure they leave smiling.
If you’re energetic, outgoing, funny, and love being the center of attention, we can teach you the painting part.
If you can work a room, make people laugh, keep everyone engaged, and create an unforgettable experience, we want to meet you.
What You’ll Do
This isn’t your typical art instructor position.
Think of yourself as part entertainer, part host, part cheerleader, and part paint instructor.
Every class is your stage.
You’ll:
- Host fun, high-energy paint parties for groups of all sizes.
- Create an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome—even guests who insist they “can’t paint.”
- Guide guests through a simple step-by-step painting while keeping the mood light, fun, and interactive.
- Tell stories, crack jokes, celebrate successes, and make everyone feel like an artist.
- Keep classes moving on schedule without making guests feel rushed.
- Set up and clean up before and after events.
- Welcome guests, provide exceptional customer service, and make every person feel important.
- Help guests make custom candles as an optional add-on experience.
- Assist with general studio organization and preparation.
Who We’re Looking For
Personality comes first.
We’d rather hire someone who paints an 8 out of 10 but entertains at a 10 out of 10 than someone who paints perfectly but struggles to connect with people.
The ideal candidate is:
- Naturally outgoing and loves talking to people.
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups.
- Quick-witted and able to think on their feet.
- Positive, encouraging, and energetic.
- Organized enough to keep events running smoothly.
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
- Available evenings and weekends.
You DO NOT Need to Be a Professional Artist
If you have basic acrylic painting skills and enjoy being creative, we can teach you our painting process.
What we can’t teach is enthusiasm, charisma, confidence, and the ability to make people feel welcome.
Those qualities are what make someone successful in this role.
