Job Description

As a Security Officer Vehicle Security Rounds Driver in Springfield, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, report concerns, and provide responsive customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations at the utility location in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and reporting observations according to established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of utility facilities, operational areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity and/or concerns involving utility infrastructure.
Communicate with Allied Universal management, utility personnel, and emergency responders as needed during incidents and service disruptions.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
