Somewhere in the Greater Springfield area, a business may have a server down while waiting for a critical replacement component. A healthcare provider may need a time-sensitive pharmaceutical, clinical trial shipment, laboratory material, or medical supply delivered within a specific window.
Someone has to get it there—on time, handled correctly, and with clear communication from pickup through delivery.
NWA Courier is a 21-year-old, TSA-certified logistics company serving healthcare, technology, pharmaceutical, laboratory, clinical research, and other time-critical industries. We are expanding our independent contractor driver network in the Greater Springfield, Missouri market.

This is on-demand contract work, not a fixed schedule.
Orders are offered as our clients request service. Some weeks may be busy, while others may be quiet. You decide whether to accept or decline each assignment.
There are:
- No guaranteed hours
- No fixed routes
- No minimum number of jobs
- No requirement to accept every assignment
- No guaranteed weekly earnings

The work
Assignments in the Springfield market may include:
Critical computer component deliveries
Time-sensitive replacement parts for servers, data systems, retail systems, and other business-critical equipment. These orders are often dispatched when a customer is experiencing an equipment failure or operational interruption.
Clinical trial and research shipments
Delivery of clinical trial materials, research supplies, investigational products, documents, and related shipments. These assignments may involve strict delivery windows, chain-of-custody procedures, temperature-control requirements, or detailed documentation.
Pharmaceutical and medical deliveries
Medications, medical supplies, diagnostic materials, and other time-sensitive healthcare shipments.
Laboratory and specimen-related deliveries
Materials moving between clinics, laboratories, hospitals, research facilities, and other healthcare locations. Drivers must carefully follow all packaging, documentation, and chain-of-custody instructions.
General expedited logistics
Parts, documents, supplies, equipment, and other priority shipments that cannot wait for standard delivery service.
Please note: We are not currently recruiting drivers for nuclear medicine or radioactive-material deliveries in the Springfield market.

Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver’s license
- Acceptable driving record
- Reliable, clean, and presentable vehicle
- Current vehicle registration and insurance
- Smartphone with dependable voice, text, email, camera, and navigation capabilities
- Ability to pass required background screening
- Ability to follow chain-of-custody, security, handling, and documentation procedures
- Professional appearance and communication
- Ability to safely lift and transport typical courier packages
- Ability to provide prompt pickup, transit, and delivery status updates
- Willingness to travel throughout the Greater Springfield area and occasionally to regional destinations
- A record of keeping commitments—when you accept an assignment, our dispatch team and client must be able to depend on you

Contractors are responsible for their own vehicle, fuel, maintenance, insurance, taxes, and other operating expenses.
Earnings vary based on:
- Available order volume
- Assignment mileage
- Urgency and service level
- Handling or documentation requirements
- The number and type of assignments accepted
No minimum number of assignments, hours, or earnings is guaranteed.
Pay: $400.00 - $1,000.00 per week
