Springfield PC PROS is a locally owned Computer Repair shop with a tight crew of PC enthusiasts who troubleshoot, upgrade, and build killer gaming rigs every single day.
Customers trust us with everything from $5,000+ water-cooled monsters that won’t POST to simple family desktops running slow. We diagnose fast, use flat-rate pricing, fix it right the first time, and hand it back running better than ever.
We’re growing and need an EXPERIENCED tech who can walk in tomorrow and own the bench with no training wheels needed!
If this is the type of technician you are, keep reading, it gets better!
The Deal – We Need You to Hit the Ground Running
Minimum 3+ years REAL-WORLD, hands-on experience repairing desktops & gaming PCs (A+ Cert is a bonus but not required for the right person)
If you’ve never undervolted a 14900K, used a BIOS Flashback, or you can't explain what PBO is... please don’t waste your time or ours.
We’re a small team – you’ll be diagnosing, building, and talking to customers practically from day one.
What You’ll Actually Do Every Day
Crack open Gaming Computers to diagnose complex issues
Be on the lookout for incorrectly installed hardware such as flipped fans, missing MB screws, SSD's improperly installed, and etc.
Swap CPUs, GPUs, Mobos, RAM, SSDs, PSUs, AIOs (and occasionally save someone’s $800 custom loop)
Bench test the heck out of everything with OCCT, Heaven, 3DMark, Cinebench, Prime95
Upgrade systems (GPU Upgrades, RAM, NVMe swaps, better cooling)
Talk to customers like humans – explain why their 4090 is cooking itself without making their eyes glaze over
Keep killer notes so the next guy (or you tomorrow) isn’t guessing
Research and order replacement parts, share your knowledge and wizardry with the team
You’ve Got This If…
You live and breathe PC hardware
You’ve stress-tested more rigs than most people have built
You can lift a 50lb tower like it’s nothing
You look presentable and don’t smell like an old case fan
Strong English – you’ll be creating repair tickets, keeping accurate repair notes, and talking to gamers about why their PC is crashing
Bonus points if you overclock, water-cool, or have war stories from previous shops
The Good Stuff
$18–$22/hr to start (based on experience) + tips + raises as you prove you’re a beast
Full-time, 40 hrs/week (Mon–Fri + rotating Saturdays)
