Are you a highly skilled and motivated Chief Engineer seeking an immediate opportunity to showcase your talents? Do you thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? If yes, then we have the perfect job for you!

Join our hotel, a renowned brand with over 69 years of service, as the Chief Engineer responsible for overseeing the maintenance department. You will manage the upkeep of the entire hotel facility, ensuring efficient operation of all mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. Essential Functions:

Conduct visual and physical assessments of the hotel's infrastructure and systems.
Perform hands-on work when necessary, especially in small teams.
Manage routine maintenance and repairs for all areas of the hotel.
Lead the maintenance department, including Engineers and Grounds Keepers.
Provide regular updates to management on building conditions and maintenance proposals.
Adhere to budgets and purchasing policies.
Maintain effective Energy Management and Preventive Maintenance programs.

Skills & Abilities:

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Knowledgeable in hotel operations and services.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism.

Education & Experience:

Certificate from a Vocational Institution in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical repair preferred.
Minimum 2 years of manager and/ or 3 years supervisor experience in maintenance and 3 years in relevant trades.
Current Driver’s License required.
Certified pool operator certification preferred.

Hours:

Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. Must respond to emergencies as needed.
