We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to work with our expanding accounting team. The ideal candidate for this position has experience in accounting systems, financial statement preparation/review and income tax return preparation. The successful candidate will have a background in an office setting, strong Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to handle multiple complex tasks at once. We’re looking for someone who can take initiative, is willing to learn new things, and who wants to become part of our small family-oriented firm.

Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly financial statements for multiple companies
Prepare payroll for multiple companies
Prepare corporate tax returns
Prepare individual tax returns
Report financial and tax results to clients and provide recommendations

Skills:

QuickBooks (or another accounting software)
Ultra Tax (or another tax software)
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Organized and attentive to detail
Strong computer skills
Financial statement and accounting analytical skills

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
2-4 years of Accounting and/or Income Tax Experience (if no degree)
Master in Accounting or MBA (Preferred)
CPA (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
