What You’ll Do (Your Day-to-Day Impact)

As a Visiting OT, you are the architect of independence for your patients. You will:

Bring Care to the Doorstep: Perform meaningful home visits across Hudson or Essex County.
Assess & Innovate: Run diagnostic tests and craft creative, individualized care plans that help patients safely reclaim their daily routines.
Educate & Empower: Provide hands-on instruction and inspiration to patients, family members, and caregivers.
Collaborate Dynamically: Work alongside a passionate, multidisciplinary care team to deliver seamless patient progress.
Keep it Smooth: Accurately document your clinical brilliant-work using intuitive electronic charting systems (HCHB).

What You Bring to the Table

The Essentials: A current, valid New Jersey Occupational Therapist (OT) License.
A Set of Wheels: A valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to navigate your territory.
People Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, genuine empathy, and a customer-service-oriented mindset.
Tech Adaptability: Ability to learn and navigate electronic documentation systems (experience with Homecare Homebase is a plus, but we will train you!).
Bonus Points: Bilingual skills (we love serving our diverse multilingual communities!) or Medicare-certified home care experience are awesome extras, but absolutely not required.
