Full Job Description

We are seeking an Ice Cream Store Catering / Swing Manager to join our team! Also known as advisor, fire fighter, expert communicator, rule enforcer, and expert. You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the Jubie's Creamery Catering Team & assisting a store scooping team.

Responsibilities:

Fully set up, operate, and tear down Jubie's bus, pre-pack cup, or sundae bar events
Work closely with the VP of Operations to fill the catering / events calendar and schedule appropriately
Work closely with the Fairborn Kitchen Manager to properly place & fulfill catering orders
Supervise team of Team Members & Team Leads - Both in store & for events
Adjust daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency - Both in store & for events
Train and evaluate employees - Both in store & for events
Track monthly results and trends for business forecasting - Both in store & for events
Fulfill weekly inventory & ordering requirements - Both in store & for events
Resolve escalated customer complaints - Both in store & for events
Oversee menu item consistency and portion control - Both in store & for events
Main point of contact for routine Health inspections and the local health department for the Bus & all catering events
Complete weekly & monthly machine maintenance & maintain a clean & compliant store - Both in store & for events
Work alongside all employees and be proficient at all positions in case of shift coverage - Both in store & for events

Qualifications:

Previous experience in food service, catering, or other related fields
Ability to move large pieces of equipment
Ability to drive large vehicles including our catering bus & delivery van
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and communication skills
Strong leadership qualities
Be competent in Excel, Word, Google Drive, and comfortable with other online tools
Incredibly organized and able to multi-task effectively
You will be required to complete a State & Federal background check & complete the ServSafe Level 2 manager training

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
