POSITION SUMMARY

DEC is seeking an experienced EPC Senior Manager to lead the execution of large-scale data center construction projects. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery including engineering coordination, procurement management, construction execution, project controls, and client engagement.

The EPC Senior Manager will provide strategic leadership across multiple project teams while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience leading mission-critical or complex EPC projects and possesses strong leadership, commercial, and operational expertise.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Leadership & Delivery

Lead EPC project execution from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover.
Provide overall leadership to engineering, procurement, construction, and project controls teams.
Ensure project objectives, milestones, and client expectations are achieved.

Commercial & Contract Management

Oversee project budgets, forecasts, risk registers, and cost controls.
Manage contract administration, change orders, claims, and commercial negotiations.
Support project reporting and executive-level communications.

Construction & Engineering Oversight

Coordinate engineering deliverables, procurement activities, and field execution.
Drive schedule adherence and project performance.
Support commissioning planning and project closeout activities.

Stakeholder Management

Serve as the primary escalation point for clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships throughout project delivery.
Team Leadership
Mentor Project Managers, Engineers, and Project Controls personnel.
Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
10+ years of experience delivering large-scale EPC projects.
Experience in data centers, mission-critical facilities, industrial construction, or large infrastructure projects preferred.

Skills & Competencies

Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
Extensive knowledge of EPC delivery models and construction execution.
Experience managing multimillion-dollar capital projects.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Certifications (Preferred)
PMP, PE, P.Eng., or equivalent professional designation.
