Job Overview
As a Web Developer, you’ll work across all aspects of site development within WordPress, Shopify, BigCommerce, and the occasional custom solution, while also deploying email campaigns in platforms like Klaviyo and Mailchimp.
This role is both technical and creative: you’ll write functional code and work within pre-built themes and design kits to deliver consistent, corporate-level design solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with our account management, digital, and design teams to ensure websites are user-friendly, visually aligned with client goals, and optimized for performance, accessibility, and SEO.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain marketing and e-commerce websites across major CMS and e-commerce platforms
- Build and deploy marketing emails using recognized marketing platforms
- Implement UX and design improvements with a focus on consistency and quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues quickly and effectively
- Stay current with web development and digital marketing trends
- Collaborate with account management, digital, and design teams to deliver high-quality results
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of professional WordPress development experience
- Experience with Shopify and/or BigCommerce website development
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, PHP, and basic JavaScript
- Experience working within pre-built themes, page builders, and design systems
- Familiarity with website QA testing and responsive design standards
- Understanding of SEO best practices and website optimization
- Experience with Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar email marketing platforms
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Agency or multi-client experience
- Onsite presence required – this is not a remote position
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with WooCommerce and e-commerce merchandising workflows
- Familiarity with Shopify Liquid or BigCommerce Stencil
- Understanding of website accessibility standards
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, or Tag Manager
- Familiarity with Facebook Business Manager and digital marketing integrations
- Basic understanding of UX/UI best practices
- Design, typography, or illustration familiarity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Adobe Creative Suite
