Full Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This position supports day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and general accounting functions.

Responsibilities

Prepare journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations
Prepare bank account reconciliations
Review and reconcile intercompany accounts
Prepare and maintain cost centers
Maintain fixed asset schedules
Prepare quarterly multi-state sales tax filings for Vermont, Connecticut, and New Jersey
Assist with year-end financial statement review deliverables
Prepare various financial analyses
Process accounts payable, including reviewing and entering invoices
Prepare checks, wire transfers, and ACH payments
Track and reconcile company credit card activity
Review sales orders and report on underperforming sales orders
Perform other accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required
At least five years of relevant accounting experience required
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Ability to analyze data
Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness, with a commitment to producing high-quality work
Strong attention to detail
Ability to meet productivity standards and complete work in a timely manner
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with Global Shop or other manufacturing ERP software is a plus

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
