Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Facilities Maintenance Director to lead our facilities department. Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Safety, the Facilities Maintenance Director will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, transportation, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal operating results. This position will oversee the company’s facility operations at our Units, manage Facilities Maintenance Technicians and drivers, help with office moves and delegate janitorial duties, all while remaining in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Candidates must have a satisfactory driving record and a valid driver’s license for operation of a motor vehicle which is relevant to carrying out the duties of this position and in order to be covered under the company insurance. Qualified candidates must be a minimum of age 21. The Facilities Maintenance leadership will help ensure that all facilities operate smoothly, and in compliance with safety regulations. Job Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in facilities management position, preferred
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Able to read/understand complex electrical, mechanical, and automation systems
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Working knowledge of managing a fleet of vehicles
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Problem-solving and decision making skills
- Computer literacy, including database management and proficiency with Google Suite
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate/delegate system repairs and monitor system performance
- Maintain adequate parts inventory and order items as necessary
- Contract out landscaping and snow removal services
- Ensure Club vehicles are suitable for transporting Club members and make necessary repairs or coordinate vehicle-related services (i.e. oil changes, repairs, updates, etc.)
- Oversee and supervise the Facilities Technicians and Drivers
- Execute equipment audits and record-taking policies
- Coordinate with the Senior Director of Safety on the implementation of new building projects
- Maintain and encourage the use of Upkeep for tracking and requesting repairs
- Ensure compliance with all security and safety protocols
- Serve as a bus, shuttle, and van driver
- Maintain indoor swimming pool
- Other duties as assigned

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, this position often in a clean, non-smoking, heated and cooled office environment. This position will also frequently operate vehicles and may be outdoors with exposure to dust, pollen, and outside temperature and weather extremes associated with the area. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical Requirements
Seeing: Must be able to see well enough to move about the worksites and to see computer and screens and read documents and reports. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Must have 20/20 vision (with or without correction).
Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to operate a motor vehicle and effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and coworkers.
Standing/Walking: Must have the ability to move about the work site.
Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: Must be able to climb stairs and ladders. This position will regularly stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend to pick up various materials and perform maintenance tasks.
Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: Must be able to carry, lift, or push up to 25 lbs.
Sitting: Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. Must be able to operate all Club vehicles.
Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to grasp and use equipment and tools frequently. Must be able to drive.
