Pay: $30/hour
Job Type: Full-time Temp To Hire
Location: Springfield, MO

Overview

Penmac Staffing is currently seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join one of our local clients. The ideal candidate has strong accounting fundamentals, experience with QuickBooks Online, and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Perform bank reconciliations.
Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close.
Record payroll transactions and support payroll processes.
Assist with financial reporting and other accounting duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
2–4 years of accounting experience.
Proficiency with QuickBooks Online.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in logistics or eCommerce.

Technology Used

QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office applications.

Accurate and timely financial records.
Efficient completion of month-end activities.
Strong collaboration with internal teams.
Reliable support for accounting operations.
