Overview
Cedarwood is looking for a reliable, organized, mechanically minded part-time Warehouse & Inventory Associate to help keep our warehouse clean, safe, organized, and ready for daily operations.
This is a steady part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week, and is expected to remain part-time for the foreseeable future. The regular schedule is expected to be Monday through Friday, approximately 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with occasional flexibility to stay slightly later when inbound freight, outbound shipments, or special warehouse needs require it.
This role is a good fit for someone who wants consistent long-term part-time work, takes pride in order and safety, and can work independently in a small-business environment.
We are not looking for someone who rushes through tasks. We are looking for someone careful, steady, observant, dependable, and safety-minded.
What You’ll Do
- Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, labeled, and safe.
- Pick, pack, label, palletize, wrap, and stage standard outbound orders so they are ready for LTL pickup or customer pickup by noon whenever possible.
- Receive, move, stage, and organize inbound materials, inventory, and supplies.
- Help prepare materials, parts, and orders for production or shipment.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse support.
- Safely move materials using pallet jacks, carts, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment as trained and authorized.
- Maintain clear walkways, loading areas, storage areas, and work zones.
- Notice and report unsafe conditions, damaged materials, equipment concerns, or anything that does not look right.
- Help improve warehouse organization and flow over time.
- Run occasional local errands or pickups using a company vehicle when needed.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and coworkers about priorities, problems, and completed work.
What We’re Looking For
The right person should have good mechanical common sense. You do not need to be a mechanic or handyman, but you should be comfortable around tools, equipment, racks, pallets, straps, carts, materials, and warehouse movement.

A strong candidate will be:
- Reliable and punctual.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Careful and safety-minded.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Able to recognize when something is unsafe, unstable, overloaded, damaged, or outside their scope.
- Comfortable in a small-business environment where priorities may shift.
- Professional, respectful, and cooperative.
- Interested in a steady long-term part-time role.
- Someone who values reliability, honesty, safety, order, respect, humility, and follow-through.
