Job Overview

MyFlorist is seeking an experienced and creative Senior Floral Designer to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a highly skilled floral professional with a passion for exceptional design, and extensive experience creating floral arrangements for large-scale events.

The ideal candidate will manage daily floral production, maintain the highest standards of flower care and design quality, and collaborate with clients to bring their vision to life.

Key Responsibilities

Design and oversee daily floral production for retail, corporate, and event clients.
Create and execute floral designs for corporate gatherings, galas, memorial services, weddings, and other large-scale events.
Work and support floral team members while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Consult directly with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and event requirements.
Present design concepts and communicate floral recommendations professionally and confidently.
Ensure all floral products meet company standards for creativity, quality, and presentation.
Maintain proper flower processing, conditioning, storage, and care procedures to maximize freshness and longevity.
Assist with inventory management, ordering, and quality control of floral products.
Stay current on floral trends, design styles, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of professional floral design experience preferred.
Extensive experience with weddings, corporate events, and large-scale floral installations.
Strong knowledge of a variety of floral design styles, including traditional, contemporary, garden-style, luxury, and event-focused designs.
Excellent flower processing, handling, and care knowledge.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to confidently communicate with clients regarding design concepts, floral selections, budgets, and event expectations.
Ability to understand and translate a client's vision into exceptional floral designs.

Work Schedule Requirements

Must be available to work early morning hours.
Must be available for occasional weekends.
Must be flexible to work extended hours during peak floral seasons, including:Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas, holiday season and other high-demand floral periods

Experience with DOVE POS is a huge plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
