Full Job Description

Overview: We are seeking a PRO GM who will work with ownership to drive results on a daily basis. The GM will be responsible for maintaining everything in and around the four walls of the school. The GM will be responsible for driving results through quality sales and service, safety, and providing first in class experience for all members and staff.

Job Requirements:

· Oversees daily business activities, operations, and safety

· Improves overall business functions

· Manages budget and drives profits

· Hires, trains, and leads staff to perform job tasks at a high level

· Maintain safety of all members, guests, and employees by understanding and executing the Emergency Action Plan (EAP)

· Create a positive work environment where employees thrive and progress careers

· Provides staff and customers with a best in class experience through integrity, compassion, and trust

· Long term commitment to the system and the ownership with a desire to grow career

· Willingness to come in at any hour to ensure systems are working properly

· Ability to work retail hours (nights and weekends)

· Desire to learn, understand, and engulf yourself in the inner workings of pool function

· Obtain certifications necessary to perform job function (Examples: CPR, AED, Lifeguard, and Certified Pool Operator)

· Commitment to attend 4 week training at Goldfish Swim School corporate office in Michigan

Skills Needed to Succeed:

· Effective communication

· Ability to remain calm and deescalate chaotic situations

· Decision making, delegation, and problem solving

· Multi-tasking

· Mechanical Aptitude

Education:

· High School Diploma or GED Required

· Bachelor’s Degree Desired
