Information Technology Opportunity: Director of Security and Compliance
iSuite L.L.C. is seeking a qualified professional to join ourInformation Technology team. iSuite is a business support services organization formed in 2023. The organization provides business development and pursuit, estimating, safety, accounting, human resources, information technology, marketing, and training services to clients within the Architecture, Engineering, Construction (A/E/C) industry.

We are currently looking fora Director of Security and Compliance tojoin our Information Technology team located at our headquarters in Granite City, IL. Our ideal candidate for a Director of Security and Compliance is someone who has 8-12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise security, cybersecurity, or technology leadership, including prior experience operating at a director level or above. This person will lead IMI's Security vertical directly — including the Security Lead and the incoming Security Analyst, Sr. Security Operations Engineer, and Jr. Security Analyst — and partners closely with the VP of IT and Chief Architect on day-to-day execution across the environments they operate.
Primary responsibilities for iSuite’s Director of Security and Compliance include:
Oversee enterprise cybersecurity operations — monitoring, detection, response, and recovery — and lead incident response for significant security events.
Direct vulnerability management, endpoint protection, identity security, email security, backup resilience, and cloud security programs.
Own identity governance and IAM policy across IMI's Microsoft 365/Azure AD and Google Cloud environments, including Workforce Identity Federation and Dataplex policy enforcement supporting the Digital Thread platform.
Own security architecture review of new platforms and tooling, including AI/agentic systems, partnering with Corporate Legal & Risk on AI system risk classification and policy enforcement under IMI's AI Governance program.
Conduct enterprise security risk assessments and lead third-party/vendor security reviews for all new technology partnerships.
Own the mapping of IMI's security controls to CIP/OCIP and cyber-insurance underwriting requirements and report control maturity to the VP, IT and CDTO as a standing deliverable.
Partner with Facilities, Operations, and Manufacturing leadership on physical security, facility access control, surveillance, and critical infrastructure protection.
Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning across IMI's entities.
Define enterprise security architecture standards and review major technology initiatives to ensure appropriate controls are incorporated before they go live.
Oversee enterprise security awareness and training programs, and ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, contractual, and industry security requirements.
Build, mentor, and lead the Security vertical, including formal career development and succession planning for the team.
Primary qualifications for iSuite’s Director of Security and Compliance include:
Required
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
8–12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise security, cybersecurity, or technology leadership, including prior experience operating at a Director level or above.
5+ years leading technical teams and enterprise security initiatives, including building a security function from an embedded/early-stage state into a dedicated organizational vertical.
Strong understanding of enterprise cybersecurity operations, IAM, EDR/XDR, network and cloud security, vulnerability management, incident response, security architecture, GRC, and business continuity/disaster recovery.
Excellent communication, leadership, and executive presentation skills.
Preferred
CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent certification.
Experience supporting manufacturing, construction, industrial, or distributed field operations.
Experience leading enterprise security programs across hybrid cloud (Google Cloud and Azure) and on-premises environments.
Experience mapping security controls to CIP/OCIP or cyber-insurance underwriting requirements.
Experience building security review processes for AI/ML or agentic systems.
Familiarity with enterprise security technologies such as CrowdStrike, Druva, Barracuda, Microsoft Security, SIEM platforms, privileged access management, vulnerability management, and security automation tools.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
