Job Overview

Your culinary skills will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests, ensuring every plate meets our high standards of quality and presentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your food preparation talents in a fast-paced, vibrant environment that values teamwork and creativity.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
Assist in menu planning by providing input on dish presentation and ingredient selection to enhance guest satisfaction
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
Support the kitchen team during busy service hours, efficiently managing multiple orders while maintaining attention to detail
Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and disposal to prevent contamination or spoilage
Contribute to catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of food with precision and efficiency
Demonstrate excellent knife skills and food handling techniques to optimize meal preparation speed and safety

Qualifications

Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with food handling protocols
Proven restaurant or kitchen experience, especially in fine dining settings, showcasing advanced culinary skills
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
Skilled in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly with an eye for detail
Experience with menu planning, catering, and serving in a fast-paced environment is a plus
Excellent knife skills combined with proficiency in food industry best practices for food handling and safety
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness
