Job Location: This position will be located at Missouri School for the Blind, 3815 Magnolia Ave., St. Louis, MO 63110.
Why you’ll love this position:
This position supports the Materials and Instructional Resource Center (MIRC) Librarian with providing educational materials, ordering materials, maintaining inventory, and tasks related to provision of materials to Missouri students who are visually impaired/blind.
Responsibilities - What you’ll do
- Prepare incoming and outgoing materials for mailing (checks in/out, processes, shelves, stores) and maintains organization of MIRC inventory.
- Assist in conducting the collection of information for the yearly APH Quota Registration.
- Comfortable with and knowledge of apps, software, and inventory software such as Excel.
- Clean and repair MIRC equipment and involves third parties when needed.
- Willing to learn and complete special tasks such as adjusting or moving materials, updating technology devices, preparing bulk mailings to school districts
- Ability to establish and maintain harmonious relationships with co-workers and the public.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Ability to supervise.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds routinely.
- Periodic travel as required

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
