Full Job Description

The “To Go” Specialist is responsible for representing Miller’s Ale House Restaurant by providing guest service that exhibits professionalism, attention to detail, and the desire to create a welcoming environment. What you bring:

Arrives to work on time as scheduled in full uniform
Utilize greetings and telephone etiquette when addressing and speaking with guests via phone
Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner
Provides highest level of service by adhering to all Miller’s Ale House service standards
Work directly with other FOH team members to ensure all guest needs are fulfilled in a timely manner
Ensures menu knowledge to address guests’ questions; including food allergy issues
Proper food handling and sanitation of work areas; to include ensuring cleanliness of restrooms upon departure
Interact with guests to create “Ale House Raving Fans”
Maintain neat and organized work areas; to include sweeping and mopping as needed
Ensures work areas are stocked and ready for the next scheduled server as well as cleanliness upon departure from restrooms
Notifies management immediately of any potential issue with guests, team members, and/or long ticket times
Desire to provide exceptional service throughout the entire shift
Strong communication skills and the ability to work alone as well as with a team; in person and via telephone
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Basic reading and handwriting skills with ability to operate the restaurant point-of-sale software
Ability to work with numbers and handle cash
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age unless otherwise dictated by state law
Must have late night and weekend schedule flexibility

Physical demands:

The “To Go” Server is expected to be able to perform the job functions with reasonable accommodation including:

Remain standing for extended periods of time
Bending, squatting, and lifting, up to 20 lbs., for short distances
Ability to work with varying noise levels
Frequent communication with Managers, Team Members and guests. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

Hours of Operation: 11am – 12/1/2am (some nights, not all locations – see our website for details.)
