What You'll Do
Working directly with the Principal Designer, Interior Designer and Project Manager, you'll be involved throughout every phase of the design process, including:
- Assisting with high-end residential design and renovation projects from concept through installation
- Measuring homes and documenting existing conditions
- Preparing digital drawings, furniture layouts, and space plans
- Creating client presentation boards and digital mood boards
- Researching and sourcing furnishings, lighting, plumbing fixtures, tile, materials, artwork, and accessories
- Visiting design showrooms to gather samples and product information
- Assisting with kitchen and bath selections
- Supporting procurement and tracking product orders and deliveries
- Coordinating with vendors, manufacturers, contractors, and project partners
- Visiting project sites to photograph progress and document installations
- Assisting with styling homes for final installations and professional photography
- Capturing photos and short-form video content for social media and marketing
- Learning every phase of a successful Design-Build business

Qualifications
We're looking for someone who has:
- Interior Design degree or design certification
- 1–3 years of residential interior design experience
- Strong understanding of space planning and accurate field measuring
- Experience creating digital furniture layouts, presentation boards, and mood boards
- Knowledge of AutoCAD/Chief Architect/Photoshop/Asana is a plus
- Willingness to learn new software and systems
- Construction knowledge is a plus
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Strong eye for color, materials, furnishings, lighting, and styling
- Ability to take direction from the Principal Designer to source furnishings, finishes, fixtures, and accessories that align with each client's vision
- Appreciation for both current design trends and timeless design
- Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel to project sites and design showrooms throughout the region
- Personal computer (Apple preferred)
